For individuals

Take your identity with you.

DiligenceID is a personal place to build a reusable identity, hold trusted digital credentials and decide what evidence to present. You do not need to understand digital-identity standards to use it.

Getting started

One identity. Useful in more than one relationship.

Creating DiligenceID gives you a personal context in the DiligenceID application. After sign-in, the application guides you through the capabilities available to you.

01

Create or sign in

Enter through the protected DiligenceID application and establish your personal context.

02

Receive credentials

Participating organisations may issue trusted evidence about a relationship, status or achievement.

03

Review a request

See what an organisation is asking for and the purpose before you choose whether to present it.

04

Stay connected

Link reusable identity to organisation-specific accounts without giving DiligenceID ownership of those relationships.

Your credentials

Trusted information you can carry.

Credentials can represent the things organisations already need to confirm, including employment, membership, qualifications, licences, training, eligibility and authority.

Your wallet

Hold, review and present.

Your wallet is the part of the experience where you keep supported credentials, review their source and details, and present them when you choose.

A credential may have an expiry date or a status maintained by its issuer. An issuer may revoke it when the underlying fact or relationship changes. The application will show the information available for each supported credential.

Sharing and privacy

You decide what to present.

Share what is needed for the interaction rather than rebuilding an entire identity profile each time.

YOU CONTROL THE PRESENTATION

Review before you share

  • See which evidence is being requested
  • Choose whether to continue
  • Present the information needed for that situation
  • Ask for help if a request is unclear
THE ORGANISATION CONTROLS ITS SERVICE

Your account remains theirs

  • The organisation keeps its customer, member or employee account
  • It owns the service, entitlement and contractual relationship
  • It decides which evidence is appropriate under its own policy
  • DiligenceID supplies reusable identity and trust—not the relationship itself

The organisation uses the evidence you present as trusted input to its own account, service and decision process.

Security, recovery and help
